Cate Dean’s “More than a Feeling”

Welcome to this week’s book review. First I need to apologize because I may have put the wrong title in last week’s book review. The title I used is the book one title. The book this week is considered a series starter or book zero. Those of us who are older would call this a prequel. Onto this week’s book review.

This story is about Claire Wiche a mysterious and powerful magic user who runs a Wiccan shop. The story starts when the other main character walks into the shop. The driving question of this story raises is how are friends made? I can relate to as I have close friends and not a wide circle of people. The fast pace of the story makes for a page turner. Another thing I really enjoy is the three different point-of-views in the third person within the story. It’s important to remember not every story is for every reader or a specific style. I like both third and first person povs, but I know I have readers who don’t like one or the other.

Cate Dean writes cozy mysteries, fantasy, paranormal/urban fantasy, romance, and short stories. She can be found on her website here: http://catedeanwrites.com/ or Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/catedeanwrites/ or Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Cate-Dean/e/B0076ZQK1A .

Next Thursday the book review will be returning author F.F. John. This will be the last book in the Nome Chronicles, “Paragon.” I’m looking forward to reading how John concludes this series. See you next week!
