Christine Pope’s “Darkangel”
Welcome to this week’s book review. Today, I’ll be reviewing another of Christine Pope’s books. This one is in the first one in the Witches of Cleopatra Hill series Darkangel.
What I find interesting about this book is the arc of the main character. She’s trying to find the man of her dreams because having him is the key to her powers. She has until her twenty-second birthday to find and marry him. Or she can settle for someone else. Despite the time crunch, this book asks questions important to all of us. Are you going to settle? Are you willing to look for what’s important to you? Do you want someone safe or passionate? Questions important to ask before you start dating. Another question to ask is how important is honesty to you? I recommend this book for the relationship questions it asks and answers. Also note the first three books of this series is currently free in box set form.
