Laura Howard’s “The Forgotten Ones”

Welcome to this week’s book review. Today, I will be examining Laura Howard’s take on the popular Irish Mythology dealing with the Tuatha de Danaan or the People of Danu. This myth is where Sidhe come from and are known for being the Fae. They live underground in mounds out of sync with the rest of reality and are killed by iron.

The story focuses on the heroine trying to take care of her mother, deny her feelings for a close friend, and meeting her father. Her father brings new problems into her life, while trying to save her mother from a vengeful fae, along with dealing with the young man she denies she loves. I liked the fact the heroine is willing to risk her freedom and sanity to find her mother and her love. She is justifiably upset with her father. The fast pace of the book makes it a page turner. This is a free ebook, be sure to pick up your copy.

Ms. Howard has written three books in this series. You can find her on her website her: http://laurahoward78.blogspot.com/ or Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/LauraHoward78/ or Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Laura-Howard/e/B00CL0RSAC .

Next week’s book is Kim Richardson’s “Marked: Soul Guardians”. The synopsis is how Guardian Angels are selected and what these angels do. Looks to be a fascinating read, look for my review on Thursday!
