DelSheree Gladden’s Twin Souls

Welcome to this week’s book review. I’m thrilled to write a review about a story dealing with Native American myths and legends. I believe we need diverse stories dealing with all peoples. I hope all of you look for the stories around about all peoples. Onto this week’s review.

Twin Souls is a story that takes the Tiwa people’s legend of Twin Souls and makes it real. The main questions are if you have a soul mate who is destined to love you is it the best type of love? Can the love you have for someone who isn’t destined to love you be enough? Another question is what would you do for the person you love? The story is hard to read in some places because these aren’t easy questions to answer. If you knew you could save your significant other by finding a replacement for yourself would you do it? This is the question the hero needs to find the answer to while the heroine needs to find the answer can I love the man I love or will I be pulled to my soul mate and forget the man I love? The story itself is well-written in alternating point of views from the hero and heroine. If you are looking for a diverse story outside of the normal European Myths, I strongly recommend getting this book.

In addition to writing young adult novels, DelSheree Gladden writes new adult, mysteries, and romance novels. She work runs the gambit of urban fantasy to contemporary romances. Gladden can be found on her website here: https://delshereegladden.com/ , or on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/DelSheree-Gladden/e/B004G9V2C6/ or on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/AuthorDelShereeGladden/ .

Next week’s book is Blood Debt by Nancy Straight. Dealing with a young woman finding her father’s family and romance—Greek Myth Style. Should be a different take on the myths and it will interesting since the young woman has a Centaur bloodline.
